Online Learning: Visioning and Strategic Planning
Our Visioning and Strategic Planning service takes a comprehensive approach to support institutional efforts. We help campus leadership establish a vision for online learning that is consistent with the overall mission and vision of the institution, and our team leads the campus through organizational, policy, and process decisions based on our Online Program Quality Framework. We focus on all aspects of developing and delivering high-quality online programs - from institutional and faculty readiness to program decisions based on market research, and from course development processes to ensuring appropriate student support services. Each of our strategists has extensive experience in online learning and various related specializations. This four- to six-month engagement involves on-site and virtual work that includes discovery, analyses, and recommendations, culminating in a strategic plan and roadmap for the institution.
Online Learning: Strategic Planning Overview Workshop
Our Strategic Planning Overview Workshop is designed to “introduce” campus leadership and teams to the elements required to develop and deliver high-quality online programs. This workshop is delivered by senior consultants with extensive experience in the overall planning for institutions, community colleges and districts, and university systems. The approach, based on our Online Program Quality Framework, is an interactive experience that allows participants to ask questions and help steer the conversations. The goal of the workshop is to leave campus leaders with a strong understanding of what elements are most critical to their respective organizations - based on where the institution is currently concerning online development and delivery.
Online Learning: Custom Consulting
Based on the specializations and experiences of our strategists, we can customize a consulting engagement that focuses on one or more elements of the Online Program Quality Framework. This service is particularly targeted to institutions that have been successfully offering online programs but need fine-tuning of various elements. Additionally, The Hardy Group has event planning experience and can plan meetings, symposia, and colloquia, as well as larger gatherings or conferences.
Custom Consulting engagements vary in length and can be delivered both on-site and/or virtually. Examples include Online Curriculum Design Workshop, Competency-Based Education (CBE), Course Development Process Review, AI Policy Development, AI for HE Business Processes, and EdTech Adoption. Event planning services, keynotes, and other speaking opportunities are also available.
Online Learning: Retainer and “On-Call” Services
Our Retainer service provides the institution or organization with access to the team for an agreed-upon number of hours per month. Private institutions, non-profit organizations, corporate and government entities may find this service valuable.
Primarily for public institutions, we offer On-Call Services. This involves a zero-dollar contract where clients can contact the Group for consulting services at an hourly rate for an agreed-upon period and maximum hours. The On-Call Service gives the institution or organization access to Dr. Hardy and the team as needed - a “just-in-time” service that the client controls.
